Our Prices: Rinkor Arms strives to provide high quality firearms and ammunition at the best market prices. These prices may change as products sell out and are re-supplied by our distributors and manufacturers. Your understanding is appreciated when stock is sold-out and replaced with higher cost items. In the event of misprinted prices, we reserve the right to sell the items at the correct and current price.
Sales Tax: California residents are subject to 8.75% sales tax on any purchase made in the store.
Background Check Fee. There is a $25.00 (non-refundable) background check fee charged by the California Department of Justice (DOJ) with the purchase of any firearm. This fee is a state fee and is not retained by Rinkor Arms. Should you be denied by the DOJ from purchasing a firearm when your background check is run, the $25 fee must still be paid. DOJ background checks are not required for purchases of true muzzleloaders or antique firearms.

- Age Restrictions: You must be 18 years or older to purchase a shotgun or rifle, including ammunition, and 21 years or older to purchase a handgun, including handgun ammunition.
- Children: We are a family business and welcome your family into our store, but ask that you keep a few things in mind. We stock expensive firearms, optics, and some fragile items and ask that your children do not play with, hang-on, touch, climb, or drop any of the items we have for sale. Also, no running, skipping, hopping, or play fighting in the store. In other words, please watch your kids.
Warranties. Rinkor Arms is not a warranty repair station. We make no express or implied warranty whatsoever with respect to any merchandise, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The only warranties provided are provided by the manufacturers and are as contained in each manufacturer’s package. Please consult the documentation that came with your purchase for details. We will, however, work with you in a reasonable and responsible manner to resolve any problems you may encounter.
Store Hours: No firearms transactions will be accepted within 30 minutes of store closing.
Purchase Orders and C.O.D. Shipping: We do not ship C.O.D. Purchase orders must have prior approval for acceptance.
Return Policy. Firearms and ammunition cannot be returned. We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you desire to return another item, please contact us via phone or in-person with the product information, date of purchase, and the reason for the return. Please keep all packing material and documentation in the event your purchase has to be serviced or returned to the manufacturer. If you return the merchandise without authorization, you will be charged a 30% restocking fee. No returns after 15 days for any reason.
Pre-owned Guns. All pre-owned firearms or other used merchandise are sold as-is where is, and no warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability are made with respect to pre-owned firearms. If your gun does not work, bring it in and we will have a staff member take a look at it. If the gun cannot be factory repaired, we will allow credit toward the purchase of another firearm. No returns after 15 days for any reason. Purchasers of pre-owned firearms are strongly encouraged to contact the manufacturer or check the manufacturer’s website for a firearm owner’s manual for their purchase.
Special Orders: Require a non-refundable 50% minimum deposit due at the time of order.
Lay-Away: Requires 25% minimum down payment. We do not guarantee availability of firearms placed on lay-away due to the constantly changing legal environment.
Waiting Period for Purchase of Firearms. A 10 day waiting period is mandatory for a purchase of both a handgun and a long gun (rifle). A photo ID with your current address is required and a proof of residency in the form of a utility bill or a government id other than your driver license. If you are a California resident, the photo ID must be a DMV-issued ID. If you have moved but not updated your address on your photo ID, you can do so online with the state at www.dmv.ca.gov. Military personnel must have their military ID, as well as a copy of their Permanent Duty Station orders and any existing current state driver license.
Out-of-state residents purchasing a rifle or shotgun only may use their state ID providing it has a photo with current address. Out-of-state residents may purchase a handgun, but cannot take possession of the gun until it has been transferred to a federal firearms licensed dealer (FFL dealer) in your state who will comply with the laws and regulations of your state regarding acquisition and transfer of the firearm. We will need an original, signed copy of the FFL license and street mailing address of the dealer it is to be shipped to.
HSC: A Handgun Safety Certificate is required for all handgun purchases. Study materials will be provided.
Identification: A photo ID with your current address and proof of residency are required. Military personnel must provide military ID, a copy of their Permanent Duty Station orders, and current state ID.
